Progressive Welcomes You!
The Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County (PDC) invites you to explore our site. Whether you are a typical pet lover or a dog show veteran, we hope you will find something of interest here. In addition to Dog Shows, from time to time we also offer public education programs.
Objectives of the Club:
- To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred dogs and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
- To urge members and breeders to accept the standards of the breeds approved by The American Kennel Club (AKC) as the only standards of excellence by which all breeds shall be judged.
- To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of pure-bred dogs.
- To conduct Dog Shows and Obedience Trials under AKC rules and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at these events.
