2020 Events Cancelled Due to COVID-19

Out of concern for public health, the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County and its associated specialty and group clubs have canceled all events for April 24-26, 2020.

Refunds of Entry Fees

Exhibitors who have already entered any of these events MUST contact MB-F to request a refund before April 8, 2020. You may email change@infodog.com with your dog’s breed, name, registration number along with the club name and event date for each event to receive a refund. More information can be found on the Infodog.com website.

Progressive Dog Club Shows

Our 2020 Shows and all associated specialties and group shows  scheduled for Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2020 have been CANCELLED

Our event site, the Frankenmuth Credit Union Event Center 11600 N. Beyer Rd. Birch Run, MI 48415   ( Map and directions) has cancelled all events until further notice.

The Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County has been holding two “back-to back” All-breed Dog Shows each year.  In 2020 our weekend was supposed to  kick off on Friday with  Terrier and Toy group shows as well as a Doberman Pinscher specialty.  

Our premium list is available online on the Infodog site.  We are delighted to host several other conformation events on Friday, April 24th, as we share our site in Birch Run with the Terrier Club of Michigan , Great Lakes Toy Club , and the Doberman Pinscher Club of Detroit

In 2020 our show was planned to include National Owner Handled Series (NOHS) competition, weekend Junior Showmanship scholarship competition, CGC Testing (Saturday) and an “Afternoon with the Professionals” Handling Clinic open to all (Saturday.)

Our 2021 show dates will be May 1-2, 2021

Supporting Club Information

Progressive welcomes breed clubs who wish to support the entry of our show.  Please contact the show chair for details on benefits offered to supporting clubs; a Friday standalone specialty on our site is also an option.   Due to AKC and  premium list deadlines supported club information is needed by November 15th of the year preceding the supported show.

Dog Safety Reminder

Beautiful spring weather brings external parasites out of the woods!  Please make sure you protect your dogs from fleas and ticks.
